Nightal 20: Simril
When dusk comes on this day, folk go outside to locate particular stars that were lucky for their ancestors, or that were associated with their own births. They then attempt to stay up through the night, celebrating outside with bonfires, song, and warmed drinks.
Cloudy nights often draw larger crowds than clear ones, since glimpsing your star through the haze is thought to be a blessing from Tymora.
Inside buildings, service folk keep roaring fires and engage in making food to keep celebrants fed throughout the long night and into morning of the next day.
If you have no particular star of your own, you’ll find many vendors of star maps willing to divine which is yours — based upon your place and date of birth — and to point you in the right direction for a shard or two.
Lavendar is useful in potions to help stabilize a useful property, and the Southern Wing constellation makes me think of you: rising up on the horizon only when the weather begins to cool, it scoops the last warmth of the day and holds it close to the world's chest.
This place may be strange, but you can always lean on your friends. Please let me know what you miss most about home and you should have it at your doorstep within a few days.

Ingrid - convenience store meatbuns and an excited speech about why they are THE BEST omg soft pastry and meat who would have thought
Annette - cute food containers (what's Erku's version of tupperware? slutterware? idk) with a note about how marvelous these are
Mercedes - THE WORLD, IF SHE ASKS FOR IT. but also bulks of cloth and clothes bought from the thrift shops in hopes that Mercedes will find something she likes
Hilda - small and suspiciously egg shaped crystals with absolutely zero spells cast on them
Lorenz - detailed notes from her 800 page tome on tea, including medicinal/therapeutic values extracted from studying all those horny tea blends
Seteth - his pick of any of the BDSM racks in Constance's room, as she tries to stay oblivious of their true purpose
Flaynn - detailed notes on the flora and fauna of Erku, may or may not include her attempts at sketching Flayn's croissant hair
Co-workers - basic working gloves (Constance has made sure that they're the right size)
Chocobos - more Gysalh greens for everyone! and gysahl yellows... reds... oranges... since when did these come in multiple colors?
Horses and Pegasi - more hay and extra brushing for these noble mounts
Hibiki - glitter gel pens
Eustace - handmade bug spray
Lucio - a bottle of the same shampoo they use on chocobos for his feathers
Siegfried - arm floaties hopefully they'll fit his buff arms
Relena - more goodies from the convenience store
Shi Qingxuan - a box of blooming tea and a note about enjoying these with their loved one
Even Immolzeth - detailed handwritten notes on how to cast Nosferatu
Oran Vegalthon - detailed handwritten notes on how to cast Sagittae
Troy Dantes - wooden sticks. he likes sticks, yes?
