Even and Oran, in a joint effort, have constructed a small gift for Zechs. It's hard to tell whether the small wrought iron lantern* is something they constructed entirely or requested from the Augur, but it's certainly been modified: the inside has a candle that, while it will need to be replaced now and then, sits in a socket amongst a small nest of dark green beach stones.
When it's lit, Zechs will find the lantern gives off a soothing scent -- and it must be supernatural, because the scent changes based on what Zechs will feel soothed by in the moment. It's not a strong effect but it builds over time -- and, after all, it's also a very pretty little source of light.
On the base is engraved "Lavarandar's Lantern" and a constellation.
* - that but without the cheesy fake plants

I'm going to have fun playing around with what kind of scents soothe him when, too. Thank you!!!

No, this, I think, is when Even gives Oran the jewellery. It's a full set of golden chains, necklaces, horn-danglies and horn-caps, rings, bracelets, anklets, earrings (and other potential piercings). He's constructed a small wooden box and has arranged the lot of them nicely inside; on the top of the box is engraved a pair of constellations. Even has spent much of his hobby time back home learning the constellations both of his own homeland and of others, and he's chosen a pair: Jauhar and Selan.
When next to one another, these two bring out the best in each other: the wealth that is beauty, the dance that is sincerely caring for another person.
In one of the more thickly adorned necklaces, too, there is a small note on thick paper, handwritten and rolled up tight and hidden in a hammered-gold heart: not meant to be found, but meant to be kept.
Oran Vegalthon, Aster of the wastes, I see you and I know you and I will keep you and protect you as best as my mortal hands can.
There is also a blessing written somewhat incongruously in Infernal: a small piece of superstition that Even would not admit to. He's enchanted a few of the bracelets with Bless, only one charge a day, including the necklace with the note: that one, he's also infused a little bit of Prestidigitation into so that it glimmers extra shiny.

In another little bag alongside the orange peels he will find a small, flat oval of a stone, engraved with a constellation which is labeled on the back in a fine pen-script, The Eyes, a.k.a Where Selune Looks back.
A note along with: Sometimes, they are also taken to look like a pair of daggers. Selune is Our Lady of Silver, whose visage and auspices change with the phases of the moon and who is one of the mothers of magic. She comforts those who seek in the night. Those born under its auspices are flexible, mysterious creatures whose aspects change to the situation as fluidly as the tides turn.
The stone is grey but it has been oiled with a lavender oil, which takes its grey to a deeper, duskier lustre (closer to purple) and makes it smooth to the touch.

honestly he would argue that he is not nearly so adaptable as the constellation implies but he's trying and he wants to be... but it's beautiful and he might keep it nestled at the base of the pretty succulent Constantin gave him on his nightstand being a soft little night light u.u

that is an utterly lovely place to keep it, though, wonderful. ;u;

Peter receives a nearly perfectly-round greenish river stone, oiled to give it luster and a gentle almond scent. The stars engraved into it are roughly a polygon with one diagonal side.
On the back, the label is Bala.
Under Bala, music heals and uplifts; it is an enchantment and a balm, a rallying cry and a shoulder to cry on. The magic of music flows like the wind and, like the wind, it is implacable to the soul caught in its current. Those who exist under this constellation's auspices are just as flexible, just as powerful, and just as moving as their guiding stars.

Oh my god, that's so pretty and so fitting. he will love it and assume that he asked Even about the meaning of the Bala symbol :3
