It's the holiday season! And what does that mean? That's right, presents! What are your characters giving their CR this time of year? Are they naughty gifts or nice gifts? 

(Optional) Instructions:

1) Post with what your characters plan to give others for the winter holidays.
2) Tag around.
3) Reap benefits.

Can be IC or just for fun. It's up to you.

Oran Vegalthon | OC (D&D)

Oran plans on gifting some magical oddball items and potions, along with some plant doodles from the local flora and the constellations he remembers that he thinks suit his CR best.

His city has a lot of various holiday celebrations at this time of year, but this one sounds pretty neat:

Nightal 20: Simril
When dusk comes on this day, folk go outside to locate particular stars that were lucky for their ancestors, or that were associated with their own births. They then attempt to stay up through the night, celebrating outside with bonfires, song, and warmed drinks.

Cloudy nights often draw larger crowds than clear ones, since glimpsing your star through the haze is thought to be a blessing from Tymora.

Inside buildings, service folk keep roaring fires and engage in making food to keep celebrants fed throughout the long night and into morning of the next day.

If you have no particular star of your own, you’ll find many vendors of star maps willing to divine which is yours — based upon your place and date of birth — and to point you in the right direction for a shard or two.

Hey man, it makes sense, given they're from the same place!

Oran will be giving his totally not-a-bf his STAFF OF FLOWERS because... reasons... and a hand-drawn card of an orange blossom and the constellation of the Dragon of the Dawn. This is because Even is from far to the East where the dawn rises, and because his magical prowess will one day rival that of the dragons themselves.

I love it, lol. The constellation chosen is painfully flattering, and he shall keep it tucked away as a reminder of Oran's regard. And, maybe, what he has to shoot for!

Along with the sketch, Even may also find a little note:

You mean more to me than any words can hope to say. You are more than a good friend, or even a precious one. You're the one I would like to spend the rest of my days with, wherever they might be.

For his part, Oran will draw Zechs a little sketch of bearberries (a component in some potions of greater healing) with a little note about the lantern of Lavarandar:

Like the constellation of the silver lantern that cages the monstrous and the beautiful together and watches over all of the sword coast, you shine guidance on those who choose to look to you.

You have good in your heart, Zechs. Just because you can't separate it from that which you fear doesn't mean you can't still let the good shine. You're a good friend. I wish you only health in the seasons to come.
