![]() ( 1 ) After leaving the teleportation chamber, you are gently coaxed out of the hospital and encouraged to find a place to stay. Maybe you've had time to check out your A5 app. Maybe you're just settling in. It's cloudy, overcast, cold -- you'll want to seek out someplace warm. Also, your device is beeping. A lot. The tech on the island works, it just doesn't work right. You can't seem to send a message to the correct person. It's time for... Texts From Last Universe( 2 ) What's this? Your bingo card has just been beamed to a stranger's inbox...?! ( sample A5 cards -- NSFW, may contain triggering content, please feel free to use/ignore as you see fit) ( 3 ) And now you're receiving messages from other users that they don't remember sending: Nice shirt. It would look better on my floor. 10/10 would ride it into the sunset. This user thinks you're attractive. u up? 🍆 ( 4 ) Once you figure out that the robots have been hacking your devices, it's no easy feat to track one down and demand they stop. "So The Augur wills!" they wail in a monotone. "So it is done!" Any attempt to actually contact The Augur and get back into the hospital will be met with beefy robot bodyguards, who suggest taking a gentler approach to fix your devices. If you know what they mean. Wink. (This is your overt kink prompt. Please label any threads accordingly.) Note: All prompts are optional. The theme for this TDM is "malfunctioning devices." They can be fixed by indulging in the squares on your cards. For the sake of the TDM, you can use one of the pre-generated examples or a wildcard from the kink list. This can be used as a free bingo square completion once you have been accepted into the game. Players are welcome to wildcard their own TDM prompts; we only ask that you try to stick to the theme. John Constantine | DCTV
[Well this is. This is new. This is not what normally happens when he dies - not that he makes a habit out of dying all that often. He probably looks a little strange standing there patting himself down from chest to thighs, a slightly bewildered, perplexed look on his face.
Maybe he did have a lot to drink last night, wound up waking up somewhere he doesn't recognise again. It's not as disconcerting as it should be. He has questions for the hospital staff, a lot of questions, but they don't seem interested or don't have the answers as they lead him ever so excruciatingly politely to the door. Bunch of fucking wankers.
It's a frustrating experience overall, and the constant beeping isn't helping. John backpedals away from the hospital entrance with his head lowered trying to pull the stupid watch wristband smart whatever off his wrist, unaware that he's either about to collide into someone or walking backwards straight into the path of an oncoming bike/scooter/personal mobility device.]
Text
[Of course, once it starts to click where he is, it seems like he's not-died and gone to paradise anyway. This is totally Constantine's type of town.]
Yes
[Yeah, that's the text. Did you tell him he's attractive or ask him if he's down to fuck? Maybe you offered to hold him, or hold him down and fuck him. He doesn't even know what half those vegetables and fruits mean. He's just happy to be alive and he's in a celebratory mood.]
I like a bit of pain. When and where?
Wildcard
(Up for anything, just start a thread. If relevant, John is pansexual and kink list is here.)

[ suddenly there's something pushing against john's back, shoving him forward and away again. and if he turns to look, the figure in question is a small elf, white braids looped loosely around his throat to keep them out of the way, arms folded. he didn't push him with his hands, then, at least. ]
Try to watch where you're going, yes? [ he gives him a once-over, mouth twisting into a frown. ] And don't take that thing off. I've found the hard way it's some sort of.. magic.. translation device.
no subject
Right. [He presses his lips into a thin, flat line and lowers his hand.] Any idea how to turn off the buzzing, mate?
no subject
he'd just found it by accident the first time, poking at the buttons, but he's picked up a few things in the last little while. it still takes him a moment to remember what to touch and where, but finally, the noises and buzzing stop, and his glance flicks up, brows arching faintly. ]
Like that, yes? I'm told one can communicate with it, but I've not bothered to send messages yet. [ he's certainly received a few, though. ]
no subject
Cheers love. It's been ringing non-stop. [And for someone who doesn't even keep a phone handy with him most of the times, it's a struggle.]
Did you just get here?
no subject
[ he pushes a few stray strands of hair behind one pointed ear, chin lifting as he looks the other man over thoughtfully. ]
.. A bit ago. Long enough to learn a little. Not long enough to do much exploring yet.

Action
Excuse me. [ That's the translation at least, Song Lan offering a bow in greeting and apology if or when Constantine turns to face him. ] I was distracted by the noise.
no subject
No uh- that was. Me. [His eyes latch on to that horsetail whisk. Yes, he knows what it's for, but it looks. Kinda kinky.] That uh... [John vaguely gestures.] Where'd you get that?
no subject
I suppose it's not that common a sight in a place like this, though.
no subject
He's mildly disappointed it wasn't something acquired here, but he'll get over it in short order. He's got priorities.]
Oh it'd be fairly common I would think, of the black and nine tailed variety. Hey I know it's a wee bit of a stretch but. There a pub or any sort of store nearby? [Yes, he's aware that it looks like this place got overrun by zombies or something nasty must have happened here, but. Doesn't hurt to ask, maybe someone knows something another block away or maybe the next town over.]
no subject
I have yet to find an inn myself, but there should be somewhere...

[If he had sent a text he was completely unaware of it, but then, it was already sending things out automatically, it was worse than that evil demonic system he had to deal with before here.]

No. Though, I suppose my device may have, on second thought.

I guess it's not like there's a cantina around here where you can talk to someone over a few drinks
no subject
Found that out the hard way. Could have used a stiff one.
