![]() ( 1 ) After leaving the teleportation chamber, you are gently coaxed out of the hospital and encouraged to find a place to stay. Maybe you've had time to check out your A5 app. Maybe you're just settling in. It's cloudy, overcast, cold -- you'll want to seek out someplace warm. Also, your device is beeping. A lot. The tech on the island works, it just doesn't work right. You can't seem to send a message to the correct person. It's time for... Texts From Last Universe( 2 ) What's this? Your bingo card has just been beamed to a stranger's inbox...?! ( sample A5 cards -- NSFW, may contain triggering content, please feel free to use/ignore as you see fit) ( 3 ) And now you're receiving messages from other users that they don't remember sending: Nice shirt. It would look better on my floor. 10/10 would ride it into the sunset. This user thinks you're attractive. u up? 🍆 ( 4 ) Once you figure out that the robots have been hacking your devices, it's no easy feat to track one down and demand they stop. "So The Augur wills!" they wail in a monotone. "So it is done!" Any attempt to actually contact The Augur and get back into the hospital will be met with beefy robot bodyguards, who suggest taking a gentler approach to fix your devices. If you know what they mean. Wink. (This is your overt kink prompt. Please label any threads accordingly.) Note: All prompts are optional. The theme for this TDM is "malfunctioning devices." They can be fixed by indulging in the squares on your cards. For the sake of the TDM, you can use one of the pre-generated examples or a wildcard from the kink list. This can be used as a free bingo square completion once you have been accepted into the game. Players are welcome to wildcard their own TDM prompts; we only ask that you try to stick to the theme. He doesn't trust Hector, either, but at the same time, he's going to need allies. "This will be easier if we work together," he agrees. "We'll find a place to stay first, make sure we have what we need, then take it from there."
no subject
"Okay. Would you like to travel together?" He pauses, eyes squinting slightly as he scrutinizes the other. "As strange as this all is, I do not wish to make enemies out of the gate."

"It's...not someone in particular that I am worried about." He speaks carefully, not feeling like offering up more facts about himself just yet. A partnership seems fine for now, but he's not ready for a friendship. "I am just wary of people. I did not mean to offend."

He doesn't trust Hector, and he doesn't trust anyone else here, either. But he really has no intention of being his enemy. He has enough of those, and he'll hold off judgment for now, until he can find out what kind of person he is. At the moment, he's someone potentially useful, or at the very least someone to talk to.
"If we're attacked, can you protect yourself?"

Hector looks off into the distance, surveying which directions they have to choose from. Everything looks the same yet strangely different when he looks from East to West and it disorients him in a way he can't describe. They just need shelter, he thinks. Then they should be fine.
"Depends on who...or what attacks us." He answers truthfully. Hector is quite fit, tall and broad enough with enough hammer swinging in his life to build quite a bit of strength but he's no match for vampires. He assumes the robots might be difficult to deal with, as well, until their weaknesses are cataloged. "But I'm strong enough to fight, if that's what you mean."

It never hurts to be cautious, even if he's the type to rush straight into danger as well. "I'm capable of defending us, if I have to."
And maybe he's the one underestimating Hector. But he doesn't seem like a trained fighter, and he doesn't talk like one. Edwon won't mind being proven wrong.

He nods in understanding. If they need to fight, anyway. It didn't really seem like the strange robot overlords wanted them to fight one another, in fact he got the vibe it was quite the opposite, but this was uncharted territory and Hector wasn't about to let his guard down.
"Shall we move, then? Try to seek a roof?"

He's staying on guard the whole time, attention on their surroundings, and on Hector - he's not sure he's not a threat, after all. "You don't seem as freaked out as I'd expect most people to be."
no subject
"Ah, well." He begins, eyes narrowing in thought. How does one explain that he's been in a situation of capture before? "I...do not yet feel as though I am in danger...and I have learned that sometimes it is easier to go do the things a captor has told you to do and figure out a way to leave later on." That sounds good, right?
