![]() ( 1 ) After leaving the teleportation chamber, you are gently coaxed out of the hospital and encouraged to find a place to stay. Maybe you've had time to check out your A5 app. Maybe you're just settling in. It's cloudy, overcast, cold -- you'll want to seek out someplace warm. Also, your device is beeping. A lot. The tech on the island works, it just doesn't work right. You can't seem to send a message to the correct person. It's time for... Texts From Last Universe( 2 ) What's this? Your bingo card has just been beamed to a stranger's inbox...?! ( sample A5 cards -- NSFW, may contain triggering content, please feel free to use/ignore as you see fit) ( 3 ) And now you're receiving messages from other users that they don't remember sending: Nice shirt. It would look better on my floor. 10/10 would ride it into the sunset. This user thinks you're attractive. u up? 🍆 ( 4 ) Once you figure out that the robots have been hacking your devices, it's no easy feat to track one down and demand they stop. "So The Augur wills!" they wail in a monotone. "So it is done!" Any attempt to actually contact The Augur and get back into the hospital will be met with beefy robot bodyguards, who suggest taking a gentler approach to fix your devices. If you know what they mean. Wink. (This is your overt kink prompt. Please label any threads accordingly.) Note: All prompts are optional. The theme for this TDM is "malfunctioning devices." They can be fixed by indulging in the squares on your cards. For the sake of the TDM, you can use one of the pre-generated examples or a wildcard from the kink list. This can be used as a free bingo square completion once you have been accepted into the game. Players are welcome to wildcard their own TDM prompts; we only ask that you try to stick to the theme. "Yeah. I will. Sorry." Her voice is still short, clipped. She doesn't like it here and she still doesn't know where Adora is...

It takes her just a few more seconds to get back to her feet, and a few more seconds to brush her skirt off - just enough time to give Catra a good long look at who she's clobbered. Long white curls; wide, shiny spectacles; blood-red eyes, and a swishing, barbed tail. Whoever she is, she's certainly not human. (Not that Catra reads as human either, now that Pandemonica can actually see her.) Doesn't really seem like a demon either, for that matter. She straightens her glasses out, standing in a more professional stance as she tries to regain her bearings.
"So. I assume you're new here?"
no subject
"Yes. Yes, I am very new here and would like to not be here."
no subject
"I'm sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, as per company policy, we're not actually allowed to authorize any transfer requests that don't come straight from the top." Does she look apologetic? Well... sort of. She looks about as apologetic as a customer service rep could look after getting beaned to the floor by a chunk of asphalt. "If you have any other issues we could help with, I'd be happy to take a look?"
no subject
"Never mind, I'm not sorry about hitting you anymore."
no subject
She pauses. And then she pauses some more. Wow, how long has it been?
"...three decades? Probably?" She definitely took a sick day around thirty years ago. She's pretty sure that's it. "All I'm trying to say is that I can't help with the getting out part."
no subject
"...Any ideas on what we do then? Other than wander around in the dark getting creepy text messages from strangers?"
no subject
"Hmm... Our best bet is probably to look for other new arrivals, and figure out what buildings are still functional." It's a simple enough start. Plus, it buys her precious time to figure out what in Hell's name is going on. "After that, we can call everyone together and establish responsibilities from there."
Ugh. Is she actually going to have to do all this on zero caffeine? This sucks. This whole place sucks.
no subject
"What's your name, anyway?" This place does indeed suck, but she should probably know this person's name.

She straightens her jacket, out of nervous habit more than anything.
"And you?"
no subject
"...This place is weird."
no subject
She stares at Catra, half-lidded eyes struggling to stay fully-focused. "Is there anything else I can help you with?"
no subject
"No. Unless you have some way of locating my girlfriend and getting us back home." Her voice is just a little sarcastic, but there's a genuine concern there, too--mostly for Adora.
