Maybe you've had time to check out your A5 app. Maybe you're just settling in. It's cloudy, overcast, cold -- you'll want to seek out someplace warm. Also, your device is beeping. A lot. The tech on the island works, it just doesn't work right. You can't seem to send a message to the correct person. It's time for... Texts From Last Universe ( 2 ) What's this? Your bingo card has just been beamed to a stranger's inbox...?! ( sample A5 cards -- NSFW, may contain triggering content, please feel free to use/ignore as you see fit) ( 3 ) And now you're receiving messages from other users that they don't remember sending: Nice shirt. It would look better on my floor. 10/10 would ride it into the sunset. This user thinks you're attractive. u up? 🍆 ( 4 ) Once you figure out that the robots have been hacking your devices, it's no easy feat to track one down and demand they stop. "So The Augur wills!" they wail in a monotone. "So it is done!" Any attempt to actually contact The Augur and get back into the hospital will be met with beefy robot bodyguards, who suggest taking a gentler approach to fix your devices. If you know what they mean. Wink. (This is your overt kink prompt. Please label any threads accordingly.) Note: All prompts are optional. The theme for this TDM is "malfunctioning devices." They can be fixed by indulging in the squares on your cards. For the sake of the TDM, you can use one of the pre-generated examples or a wildcard from the kink list. 2. What about the usernames on the communication bracelets? (Sorry if I missed this somewhere!) Is this something characters have to fill in themselves? Will it always be their real names? Or might the robots edit them into something embarrassing, too? Uncle Eggplant wants to know.

Are the bracelets removable?

Yes. However, characters will lose its automatic translation feature and be unable to understand people who don't speak the same language until they put it back on.

hello is the hangar accessible for the gundams ..... are they fully operational ....

Yes, the hanger is accessible to player characters and the Gundams are fully functional. The hanger itself is located just outside the city, and forcefields prevents the mechs from entering or damaging settlements in any way. Apart from that, they can be used to explore the surrounding areas freely.

This ruling applies to all mechs and large vehicles, i.e, characters with Tanks or X-Wing Fighters.

can one restore facilities to buildings if they have basic knowledge of how to do that kind of thing?

Theroetically yes, but the parts and tools to do so will be scarse, and it will be significantly more difficult and time consuming to do it 'the old fashioned way' than it would be to do as the robots ask.

Yes! Characters following their cards and completing their kinks will find convenent replicaters suddenly functioning perfectly well to produce all impliments needed for kinks. It's possible for characters to take advantage of this for 'extras', but only so long as they're actively pursuing those kinks.

What does the rest of the city look like, approximately? Are there any vaguely functional living spaces besides the Hospital, or is everything absolutely ruined?

About 80% of the city is still standing and maintained by the robots. The buildings themselves are dilapidated but livable.

Most of it is in roughly the same shape, adandoned for a long time but kept in a generally functional form. I.E., electricity works but the lights are dim and many are burned out, there's running water but it isn't heated and not all of the fixtures work, etc. It's obviously been abandoned for a very long time, but there's nothing growing/living anywhere. Characters can sweep out dust and find functional but extremely basic furniture stored in still usable condition.

I have a vampire that can deal with sunlight, but very poorly. Does the sun come out more often, or is the weather more like this on a general basis?

The weather will be poor as a rule until more of the world is rebuilt.

Characters requiring special accomidation will find services catering to them will also improve at the same rate.

how are they put together. Are there any seams or screws. Could an industrious person take theirs apart?

Yes, they can be taken apart and it's contents are fairly mundane.

Destroyed devices are replaced the next day, and a character attempting to tamper with theirs will find themselves without it's functions for the rest of that day.

Do the devices have voice-to-text?

Yes, the device and robots are designed to meet general accommodations like voice to text or text to speak. How well they actually do so can be left to the player.
