![]() ( 1 ) After leaving the teleportation chamber, you are gently coaxed out of the hospital and encouraged to find a place to stay. Maybe you've had time to check out your A5 app. Maybe you're just settling in. It's cloudy, overcast, cold -- you'll want to seek out someplace warm. Also, your device is beeping. A lot. The tech on the island works, it just doesn't work right. You can't seem to send a message to the correct person. It's time for... Texts From Last Universe( 2 ) What's this? Your bingo card has just been beamed to a stranger's inbox...?! ( sample A5 cards -- NSFW, may contain triggering content, please feel free to use/ignore as you see fit) ( 3 ) And now you're receiving messages from other users that they don't remember sending: Nice shirt. It would look better on my floor. 10/10 would ride it into the sunset. This user thinks you're attractive. u up? 🍆 ( 4 ) Once you figure out that the robots have been hacking your devices, it's no easy feat to track one down and demand they stop. "So The Augur wills!" they wail in a monotone. "So it is done!" Any attempt to actually contact The Augur and get back into the hospital will be met with beefy robot bodyguards, who suggest taking a gentler approach to fix your devices. If you know what they mean. Wink. (This is your overt kink prompt. Please label any threads accordingly.) Note: All prompts are optional. The theme for this TDM is "malfunctioning devices." They can be fixed by indulging in the squares on your cards. For the sake of the TDM, you can use one of the pre-generated examples or a wildcard from the kink list. This can be used as a free bingo square completion once you have been accepted into the game. Players are welcome to wildcard their own TDM prompts; we only ask that you try to stick to the theme. [ and without having words at hand to explain, she motions towards her crotch, doing a crude jerk-off gesture before curling her fingers into a fist and letting her hand drop. ] How old are you?
[ maybe she's one of those kids who looks really old. johanna doesn't know. she hasn't really seen a child in a hot second. ]
no subject
Uh... I paying attention past 10,000. A really long time, honestly. What does that have to do with it?
no subject
except maybe there is, as johanna starts looking at the other woman more carefully. she'd assumed the blue skin and wings were affectations, some stupid sense of capitol fashion. but now she's not so sure. ] What are you?
no subject
I'm a Gem. Lapis Lazuli, specifically. Which means I'm not organic, and don't die within the first... [Hang on, she has to count on her hands again-]
Fffive hundred years of existence? [Why does that number seem off...]

maybe rock-people isn't the weirdest thing to be happening today. ]
Right. Well. Dicks are how humans have sex. [ wince. ] Do you know what that is?
[ she'd almost rather be tortured than be giving aliens sex ed. just her luck. ]

You mean to like, reproduce. Got it. Yeah yeah, I know that. What do eggplants have to do with it though?
no subject
Never mind. Did you just get here? Where are you from?

[Lapis assumes "Earth", since, you know. That's just where humans tend to be, but she's trying to make reasonably polite conversation.]
no subject
Have you ever heard of the Capitol? [ because she had a working theory about what was going on here, but now she's feeling like she might be wrong. ]

Which is absolutely fair. She's been there, but also: She's trying out this whole "being nice" to people. Which means, her voice comes out extremely awkwardly.]
D...o you wanna talk about it?
[She really hopes she doesn't, because out of all the gems possible, there's probably only five who would be worse at this than her.]

no subject
Yeah, that's true. I don't. [But also, it's not being offered, so she's not going to ask.]
no subject
The polite thing is to ask. [ yes, she is aware of how hypocritical it is for her to give advice on what's polite. no, she doesn't care. ]
