![]() ( 1 ) After leaving the teleportation chamber, you are gently coaxed out of the hospital and encouraged to find a place to stay. Maybe you've had time to check out your A5 app. Maybe you're just settling in. It's cloudy, overcast, cold -- you'll want to seek out someplace warm. Also, your device is beeping. A lot. The tech on the island works, it just doesn't work right. You can't seem to send a message to the correct person. It's time for... Texts From Last Universe( 2 ) What's this? Your bingo card has just been beamed to a stranger's inbox...?! ( sample A5 cards -- NSFW, may contain triggering content, please feel free to use/ignore as you see fit) ( 3 ) And now you're receiving messages from other users that they don't remember sending: Nice shirt. It would look better on my floor. 10/10 would ride it into the sunset. This user thinks you're attractive. u up? π ( 4 ) Once you figure out that the robots have been hacking your devices, it's no easy feat to track one down and demand they stop. "So The Augur wills!" they wail in a monotone. "So it is done!" Any attempt to actually contact The Augur and get back into the hospital will be met with beefy robot bodyguards, who suggest taking a gentler approach to fix your devices. If you know what they mean. Wink. (This is your overt kink prompt. Please label any threads accordingly.) Note: All prompts are optional. The theme for this TDM is "malfunctioning devices." They can be fixed by indulging in the squares on your cards. For the sake of the TDM, you can use one of the pre-generated examples or a wildcard from the kink list. This can be used as a free bingo square completion once you have been accepted into the game. Players are welcome to wildcard their own TDM prompts; we only ask that you try to stick to the theme. I'll give you a hint: it was a birthday present.

they basically kicked me out and told me to start looking for a place to crash
yeah, Iβm pretty sure weβre not in weird sex Kansas anymore

I always thought of it more as a weird sex New York, to be honest.

What about this place? Any thoughts on this Augur character?

I wouldn't call it ideal, but it's a far cry from the worst thing that could have happened.

I'm not thrilled that we've been up and dropped somewhere else
but it would suck a lot more without you

I share that sentiment. Deeply. As unfortunate as this is, I'm glad you're here.

there's no way this place is that big when we all woke up in the same building
I'm guessing

[And roughly 30 seconds later, that familiar lasso whips out from apparently nowhere, wrapping around a convenient part of the building where Wynonna is standing so Diana can make her entrance from the next roof over, swinging down and landing right in front of her.]
Sorry to make you wait.

Instantly, she reacts the only way that her instincts are telling her to β and that's to close the space between them almost completely, hands slipping up to brace on Diana's shoulders as she hoists herself up on tiptoe and nudges their foreheads together for a few lingering seconds. ]
God, I'm so glad you're here. [ Her thumbs stroke along the sides of Diana's neck, a subtly affectionate contact. ] The last thing I remember is being at the house and then... waking up to all of this.

The feeling is mutual. [There's an indescribable tenderness in her voice. She doesn't know what she would have done if Wynonna wasn't here--lost her temper and torn the city apart until she found a way to get back to her and Frank, probably. But that's all been avoided, thanks to the simple fact that she's here and safe.] Same for me. [She huffs out a quiet laugh.] I never thought I was a deep sleeper, but I guess I was wrong.

It's okay. We're gonna be okay. [ Whatever this is, whatever's going on now, they've been through enough for her to know that this is just something they can knuckle down and endure together, too. ]
Shit, I just realized... we remembered. We haven't forgotten any of it. The city, each other... I thought I was gonna forget everything when I left.

She takes a deep breath, eyes half-lidded as she rests her forehead against Wynonna's.]
I've always... been so frightened of forgetting. [It's one of the very, very few things that has ever truly scared Diana. It may be the one thing about this place she won't question.] I'm so thankful that we didn't.

[ She's speaking from behind closed eyes, her hands instinctively smoothing over Diana's upper arms, the contact soothing her too as she initiates it, slow and gentle stroking that sweeps down and then back up again. ]
Maybe the difference is that none of us are home this time. We're all somewhere else altogether. And that's what's allowed us to hold onto our memories. [ Her eyes flutter open and she sinks back down onto her heels, hands slipping to grip fingers around Diana's wrists. ]
no subject
That could be it. [She dips her head, pressing a kiss to the crown of her head.] The universe is a strange, strange place. It isn't so far-fetched to think that perhaps as long as we're together, somewhere, we won't forget.
