| TDM 003: #BEACHBUMS |
I. BEACH  Welcome arrivals, new and old! The skies on Erku may be perpetually gray, but the weather has taken a sudden turn to summertime heat. Fortunately, soaring temperatures have chased away more of the strange fog that conceals so much of the island, unveiling a charming, sandy cove dotted here and there with rustic love shacks. These shabby little lean-tos are dusty and sparse, but they provide everything one (or two, wink wink) might need for a little relief from the sun. Just don’t wander too far... that fog has memory-loss properties. II. DRINKS  The 'bots are very apologetic about the whole fog incident, and they are trying to get on the new arrivals' good sides by giving out fancy drinks. Of course, they still haven't mastered the art of making things properly, so each drink has a little something... extra.
III. SNACKS  Lo! As you ask, the Augur shall provide. Thanks to the efforts of your organic predecessors in restoring the planet’s Eros energy, edible fishes and seaweeds have returned to the ponds and the shores of Erku. If you fancy yourself savvy to basic survival skills, why not fashion up a fishing rod and catch yourself dinner? Just be careful if you happen to hook one of the octopus creatures from the deeper waters - they can be quite forward with their tentacles! Or, if primitive angling isn’t in your repertoire, you can always trade some credits for a tasty catch from one of the food stalls along the coast. Most stalls are manned by 'bots, but there’s nothing stopping an enterprising arrival from setting up shop. No credits? No problem! The robots have also provided a bit of entertainment, and any volunteers to man the kissing booth, get dunked in the wet t-shirt dunk tank, or grill up some fish - among other opportunities - will find credits automatically loaded onto the payment app of their bracelet devices. The 'bots are recruiting especially hard for participants to work in the gloryhole tent! IV. SPARKLES  As dusk descends, the white sands of the beach suddenly come alive with glittering lights. It’s as if the darkened waters have carried a thousand shining stars from the depths of the sea to the shores of the cove. In actuality, each little twinkle is a bioluminescent plankton or jellyfish! Feel free to wade among them and admire their shine; even the sting of the jellies won’t hurt you... though they do pack a different punch. The tentacles of the jellyfish elicit a powerful aphrodisiac response, which gets the heart racing and the blood pumping for an intimate touch. The effects come on within a matter of minutes, and last for a few hours. Only time will relieve the symptoms, but a partner will help to make it more bearable. N A V I G A T I O N |
Sasha Blouse | Attack on Titan
[ Sasha has no concept of beach attire, so she is here covered from neck to ankles in what appears to be a black catsuit and an intricate system of ropes and straps that might resemble bondage. (She has no concept of bondage, either.) She doesn't really know what to make out of being in this strange, barren land after taking a gunshot right to the heart, but she's faced too many devastating events to crumble from just this. With not much to do and no friends to stick to, she's out and about, exploring this beach and wading in the water.
She picks up something interesting that's floating about, and good Samaritan that she is, she decides to return it to its assumed owner. Basically, a young woman approaches your character and hands them a mankini that someone lost. ]
Here you go. This is for you.
KISSING I GUESS
[ With no money to her name and a hungry, hungry stomach, the only logical course of action is to steal. Isn't that the way the world works? The person with the swiftest hand gets the prey? That's simply the law of the hunt. However, there's only so long a girl can go swiping snacks off counter tops before she's caught and forced to face the consequences.
She's only learning today what a 'kissing booth' is, but the stall owner's threatened to call the authorities if she doesn't work to compensate, and she's not feeling up to being locked up today. Sasha's never been particularly popular with the guys (or girls), so she doesn't even know if she'll succeed, but she has to try.
Anxiously, she grabs the hand of anyone who passes by, clasping it as she begs them to help her with her quota. ]
Please, could you help me? I need ... 15 people to kiss me by the end of today! If I fail, he says I can't keep any of the food I stole -- Err, borrowed.

TENTACLES I GUESS
[ A young woman climbs out of the water dragging what appears to be a live octopus by the tentacle. She's staked it directly in the head with a sharp piece of wood, and it's also suffering from several gunshot wounds, but somehow, it's still moving (albeit, sluggishly). The sea creature is still up to its grabby ways, trying to snake a tentacle up her leg, but she kicks that tentacle swiftly away. ]
Help me kill it. I'll give you half.
[ A pause. She reconsiders. ]
A quarter. [ Two (2) tentacles. ]
DRINKS I GUESS
[ Whether it's because you aren't paying attention, or you just happen to be holding out your fancy drink (whatever it may be) for no apparent reason, Sasha will take this as her cue to step in because it looks like you don't want it anymore. She creeps up from the side, hovering eargerly with hungry eyes, fingers already creeping up to hold your hand. ]
Umm. So. Did you mean to give that to me?
GLORYHOLE I GUESS
[ She's heard some of the bystanders hyping up this apparent 'gloryhole', but she doesn't actually know what's inside, having no concept of what a 'gloryhole' is either. ]

Ehh ...? [ If this were any other girl, they would be finding such a question extremely rude. Since this is Sasha, all she does is get slightly nervous and ponder over the answer.
The last time she had a bath was ... when she was still alive, wow. They took a day to cross the ocean and reach Marley, and she did have a bathe the day before. Captain Levi forces everyone to bathe on a semi-daily basis. Otherwise, Sasha would get by doing it every few days or so (and even less frequently when she was living in her village). ]

[ She lets Vidar have a whiff of the back of her hand now, bringing it to his face. ] Go on, there's nothing wrong with the way I smell!

[Immediate, blunt, and firm. She did not mean to give that to this stranger, and she has no real interest in pretending she did. 'Awkward' is not a word in Hikage's lexicon.
... But not giving her some might be a pain, if she starts whining. Hikage's a tall, lanky girl, visible tattoos on her neck and shoulders, in a way that makes it clear she has more under her clothes. So seeing her sigh, very slightly, is at least interesting.
Her eyes, cold and snake-like, narrow on Sasha for a second, and then she reaches for her drink. Finds another cup. Casually pours half of it in.]

This girl with the strangely-marked body seems generous after all, though, so the attempt is a success. This is probably a bad thing because it means she's found another target to hassle for food in the future. She clasps her hands together, delight in her features at the halved drink (even if she would have preferred the full one). ]

[Hikage doesn't eat much, honestly. She has a few favorite foods, but she doesn't tend to overindulge. To her, food's mostly just sustenance. So yes, she is probably a good mark.
