00. Arrival You come out of the water, the Nameless Island's own inherent energy drawing people in. It's like being suspended between realities and abruptly pushed from behind through a rift in dimensions. It may make you sick, or that might be the motion of the ocean, lifting you to the surface and carrying you to shore. Waterlogged and covered in sand, new arrivals will be greeted by robots who welcome them with towels and bracelet devices. The A5 card is already loaded up. If you don’t manage to get away from them quickly enough, they may even usher you toward the Laid Bare Spa, where new arrivals will be offered free massages, a sauna, hairstyling, and their clothing may come up permanently missing. But you will be given a complimentary towel to leave with if needed! Feel free to explore the Island, though there isn’t much to see beyond what arrivals before you have helped to rebuild. Most of the buildings are abandoned and in dire need of repair, and beyond the city lingers a thick fog that obscures much of the wilderness from view. Wander too far into this fog, and you will find yourself mysteriously looping back to where you began, your memories of what you were doing and how you got there erased. With that in mind, it may be wise to stake your claim on a place to live in the now, whether a rundown apartment in the City, a tent on the beach, a bed in the barracks, or your own space at the House of Worship. Your inventory will be found a day later, wrapped up haphazardly and delivered to each person's makeshift home. I. THROW IN A TOWEL? Erku's new arrivals may be encouraged to seek out the Laid Bare Massage & Spa for some specialized attention and relaxation, but they and long-time inhabitants will also be offered a chance to earn credits. Anyone interested in earning robot wages will be tasked with being the resident towel person! You’ll stand inside of the room while the patrons are receiving their massages, hot scrubs, or relaxing in one of the saunas holding towels for them should any be requested. Or you may be asked to help with the regular cleaning of the Spa, wiping down all of the tasteful nude statues to free them of the grime and filth (or… other things) that builds up over time. You might even be asked to help lovingly clean the murals of nude patrons (that is to say, fellow Islanders) all over the Spa. But this is a job that requires a very specific uniform. Robots will provide you with your very own chiton or toga. The chitons happen to be very short, not covering nearly as much as they reveal, but the togas might be entirely too long. They brush or drag along the floor and what with being barely held together with the thinnest and most fanciful of ropes, who knows how often they might be untucked? Take care, please, or else the robots might pull you into being the next model for their latest mural portrait instead. II. GRIN AND BARE IT Erku’s resident mental health professional, Dr. D. Love of Healthy Body, Healthy Mind Therapy Center, has taken a keen interest in ensuring that the relationships of you Islanders are progressing in a productive, healthy, and open-minded fashion. And to ensure this, he’s tasked his robot staff to pay close attention to anyone who looks like they are having trouble with relationships with other people on the Island. And after months of so few (none) clients, these robots are very motivated to seek out people in need of their therapeutic assistance! Arguing with a friend? Telling someone to stay out of your life? Being a hermit who refuses to come out of your apartment? Accidentally bump into each other on the street? Make a joke at your friend’s expense? Playfully punch someone in the shoulder? Walk by someone you don’t know and not tell them hello? Well clearly all of you need help in repairing whatever may be damaging your relationships! Before you know it, you’ve been bundled off by the robots right to Dr. D. Love’s office and sat down to talk it all out. The fact that you may not even know the other person the robots think you need to work your troubles out with doesn’t matter. Dr. D. Love is here to make sure everyone goes home happy and satisfied. You may have to play along with this confusing farcical situation, even making up wrongs and slights you claim you have done to one another before finally coming together in reconciliation. The more you deny there is anything wrong, the more the good Doctor will insist you need even more help than they first thought. They might even have to send you into one of their Privacy Rooms and work out your frustrations with each other with their wide array of therapeutic sexual devices and supplies. III. BARE NAKED AMUSEMENT TOUR The trolley is making its rounds as usual with announcements echoing from the loudspeakers that it’s Bare It All Week at Six Flagellants Amusement Park and to kick it off there will be a grand concert at the Loudinus Outdoor Amphitheater that lasts all week long! Not sure what that means? Well, come to the concert and enjoy hours and hours of music played by robots who seem to have taken their songs right from the pop rock crazes of old. Whose old? Who knows. The music may not be completely to your taste, but something about it may make you feel energized and overly dressed. You might even feel the need to strip down until you’re not wearing anything at all! But don’t worry, the robots performing on stage will give you new clothes to wear by throwing skimpy, sexy underwear and lingerie right at you! How did they know your size? Don’t ask questions, just give into the urge to put it on while you rock out until it’s time for the trolley to take everyone right to the gates of the amusement park! Anyone dressed in less for this week will receive free entry, rides, and food and might even receive special prizes at various booths of sex toys, candies that act as an aphrodisiac (meant for sharing of course), stuffed animals, or even a free sex doll! Those are super hard to win from the ring toss, so you should really take advantage and enjoy all the perks of baring yourself for everyone’s viewing pleasure. N A V I G A T I O N |

[She doesn't look like she's going to faint, thankfully, but Ochako definitely looks very troubled, and she still wants to believe none of this is true. It's just so...so impossible!! And why would anyone want to take her like this, either? She's not exactly spectacular, or special, or anything like that! Honestly, loathe as she is to even think this way...one of the boys would be a better candidate for this sort of...ugh, kidnapping. Her eyes squeeze shut tight.]
Y-Yes...please. [To the fire. She can help, Ochako knows quite a bit of basic survival training from UA, among other things. Battle, first aid, reconnaissance, all the things that make a good Hero.] Thank you, um...very much. For helping me.
But I can't stay here, I--...I can't. I have to find a way back home. M-My mama and papa will worry about me, and my friends and teachers, and... [What about her goals? Her dreams? Everything she's worked for? Is that just gone now? Is she all alone here, with no one familiar?]

[He gathers some nearby pieces of dry driftwood and palm trees and kneels, settting them in a stack. Then, he raises a hand over them and suddenly clenches it into a fist. The wood bursts into flame.]

[Good news? How is no one worrying about her whereabouts good news?! Ochako looks a little offended, and a whole lot more confused, her brows knitting together into a tight and thoughtful knot. There's clearly something being left unsaid, because there is absolutely no way that people wouldn't worry about her. Not in a world full of heroes, whose job it is to make sure people are safe. Hell, especially not after the first UA Kidnapping...
Her heart sinks to her stomach. W-Would Izuku and the others try to risk finding her, too? Like they did with Bakugou? Would they attempt to break the law, get expelled from UA entirely - this time for real - because she was somehow stupid enough to get kidnapped? Ugh...maybe it is better no one worry about her--no. No, no, no. She can't think like that. Deep breath, deep breath...calm down. Yeah.]

[Eskel kneels at the fire and waits for Ochako to settle, too.] From what I know, the Augur plucks you from your own world, but eventually returns you from the very same place and moment. Some people have even come back to the island and forgotten they were here the first time 'round. Again, there's details we don't understand yet. But you won't have to worry 'bout disappearing - far as I can tell, it'll be like you never disappeared at all.
I don't think even the most powerful mages working together could accomplish a feat like that. The Augur's somethin' else, all right.
[He takes a deep breath.] So a bunch of people from other worlds have been brought to his strange island. We're sent back to our own world as if nothing happened. There's more on top of that, whether it ends up bein' good or bad is gonna be up to you.

It almost sounds like...this place is it's own, um...bubble? I guess that's the word for it. K-Kinda like it's suspended in its own time and space. Mmh...there are books and games about this kind of thing back where I'm from. [Isekai. She has fucking been isekai'd.] But no person or quirk that I know of from my world would be capable of doing this either. It's...way too much.
[Like, there's just no way. No fucking way a quirk could evolve to become something totally crazy like that. This 'Augur' thing sounds more on the realms of some bullshit deity.]
What i don't understand is why it'd taking us here. What's the purpose? If it needs help for something, then I'd like to do that, but...I really don't like the idea of just being taken from where I belong to suit the whims of something or someone else. [Kidnapped, essentially.]

[But first, he'll have to break the next new info to Ochako. Eskel takes a deep breath.]
The purpose is to gather energy from us. Specifically from when we lay with one another. The Augur claims that it can use that energy to rebuild the island around us. Been about a year since that started - the Nameless City looks pretty damn different from when I first arrived, but there's still a ways to go yet.
[Eskel holds up his arm, showing her his bracelet.] These bracelets are used to communicate with one another, but it's also got this set of squares with sexual challenges on 'em. Fulfilling the challenges here give the Augur enough energy to fulfill a request or wish of some kind from you.
[He looks back to Ochako.] Sometimes, the Augur sets up weird situations to try and make us more inclined to seek each other out. Besides that though, you're pretty much left to make your own life here. It's...well, it is what it is. We all make the best of it that we can.

Yup. There it is. Ochako's eyes go wide and she leans back harshly, looking a mix of horrified, appalled, and embarrassed as well. Her cheeks are slightly pinker for a moment, but then she just shakes her head violently left and right so that her hair whips around slightly.]
Wha--I CAN'T DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT!! TH-THERE'S NO WAY!!! [She's just a teenager?! I mean...yeah, sure, some teens at UA have boyfriends and girlfriends are already starting to 'explore' things like intercourse and the like, but...that's a private affair!! Done with someone they like and it's all totally consensual and agreed to! Done safely and planned for ahead of time!! What Eskel is mentioning sounds like some...some big fuckfest. it makes Ochako shiver and hug her arms.] I-I really, re-really...need to get off this island. I'm not doing that. I don't care what sort of thing I may get, I'm not. I-I-I...I won't do it.
Things can be built with hard work and time, it doesn't require that. It never did for any civilization. That Augur is a f-fraud...and a d-dirty pervert!

[Ochako finishes - Eskel gives her an extra second to make sure she's done.] Won't argue that - I haven't heard of a perverted machine before, but this place sets a lot of new precedencies.
No one's found a way off yet. The Augur's got us sealed in somehow. There's a lot of ways this could be worse. Folks are working together, building things and exchanging skills. Hard work and time, like you said. And no one's roamin' around snatching people off the streets. [He raises his hands in a "don't worry" gesture.] I won't ask anything of you. Wouldn't seem right.
[Hopefully, there's something Ochako can take away from Eskel being able to apply ethics to this. The people here do have some kind of autonomy, besides when the Augur tries manipulating them.]
We're not completely independent of the Augur yet, but we're better off now than when we started.

And while getting it all does help some, it's not all gone. At the least, Ochako was allowed to vent and get all her initial shock and upset out, instead of internalizing as she is wont to do very often (and perhaps might, in all honesty), so that helps. Not completely, but enough. She breathes in and out a bit, trying to calm down and center herself. She's a hero, she can't be beaten by this. Villains are scarier, more dangerous, and Ochako can fight them no problem. She's strong. Brave. She can't...w-won't be stopped by something like this.]
G-Good, that's...th-that's good. I'm glad people here see how wrong all this is. [Ethics, like he said. People here, undoubtedly taken from their own worlds, have their own moral views of how this is all happening.] I...I want to pitch in as much as I can. I-I know you said no one's found a way off yet, b-but...but there has to be some way. We can't just give up, have to keep trying. O-Or at least not giving in to the Augur's demands.
M-My quirk is strong...I can help lift and move things. Rocks, logs, heavy equipment...it's great for construction. [It is, and how often she offered to help with her parents' construction company, help them do work, was insane. They'd always decline, telling her to not worry about them, to focus on her own path, her own life and happiness. That, in turn, would make them happy, too. But still, if she can't help them here, then she can still use that motivation to help everyone else. A hero through and through.]
