[ BB-8 is perfectly comfortable with letting Gwen hoist him up with her webs, which is a much more efficient mode of travel up along the side of the building versus trying to use his own cables, and the noises he's making are just excitement at being reunited with them. He appreciates hugs too, even if those don't work quite the same for a droid, and when she puts him down he'll roll a few exuberant circles around them. It's not everything they're missing, but it's a start, and it's a lot more than Poe was daring to hope for when he was first pushed out of the hospital and onto these desolate streets. It all just seems almost too familiar with these new devices prompting them to indulge in kinks — but specific ones this time, and it's not demanded on a threat of punishment.
