Wagering that no one can claim to be happy about this turn of events, John Blake takes what he can in stride and shoves the rest to the back of his head to be grappled with later. Bracelet hanging heavily on his wrist, he can't help but fidget. By no means a technological genius (but far from a rube either,) he's reviewed all that he's been given access to, and while some of it is particularly startling in content, it's not necessarily anything that Blake would outright eschew given the right circumstances.

Call it uncomfortable, sure, but not impossible.

It's some time in the afternoon while wandering the shattered remains of the city that he finds himself within proximity of Kurt. He's not the only one around — others mingle as if in a dreamlike state — but Mr. Blue and Fuzzy is the first to catch Blake's eye, and there's something about him that keeps the former cop's attention. There are plenty of things to figure here, including how everything's meant to work, and while he's not particularly keen on being a prisoner to it, there's nothing in him that finds him afraid to take action, particularly if it means a better understanding of the situation they've all found themselves in.

Dark eyes lingering, he makes no effort to quell his interest, going so far as to tip his head in the direction of an alcove where they might maintain a modicum of privacy, even if it's not necessarily absent of the public eye.
