TDM 009: I'M IN LIKE WITH YOU

00. Arrival This time, you come out of the water, the Nameless Island's own inherent energy drawing people in. It's like being suspended between realities and abruptly pushed from behind through a rift in dimensions. It may make you sick, or that might be the motion of the ocean, lifting you to the surface and carrying you to shore. Waterlogged and covered in sand, new arrivals will be greeted by robots who welcome them with towels and bracelet devices. The A5 card is already loaded up. Feel free to explore the Island, though there isn’t much to see. Most of the buildings are abandoned and in dire need of repair, and beyond the city lingers a thick fog that obscures much of the wilderness from view. Wander too far into this fog, and you will find yourself mysteriously looping back to where you began, your memories of what you were doing and how you got there erased. With that in mind, it may be wise to stake your claim on a rundown apartment, a tent on the beach, or a bed in the “comfortable” new barracks. Your inventory will be found a day later, wrapped up haphazardly and delivered to each person's makeshift home. ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● I. STARGAZER On the first night that new arrivals wash ashore, the moon rises. It's full and beautiful and surrounded by stars. The robots quickly bring old, dusty telescopes out of storage and line them up on the beach to help people get a truly spectacular view. "Look to the heavens! Behold, the chicken, the cat, the owl, the donkey!" It's... the cock, the pussy, the hooters, and the ass. For the rest of the night, characters will become fixated on the specific asset associated with the constellation they've gotten an eyeful of. Whether this leads to some body worship or just casual appreciation is up to you. STIMULATING CONVERSATION An ancient courting ritual has been announced! It involves the give-and-take of candy hearts with slogans printed on them. Of course, since these hearts are being manufactured by robots, their sense of taste is a little... off? Or perhaps off-putting? "You'll do." "5/10." "Acceptable." "Sloppy Seconds." Receiving a negative heart makes one feel insecure, jealous, and submissive. "Be mine." "Nicest ass." "Swell bulge." "They're good lays, Bront." Receiving a positive heart will make one feel confident, boastful, and dominant. Your friendly neighborhood 'bots will give them out to anyone who asks - and maybe even those who don't. ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● III. Eat Or Dare The robots have set up a stall by the beach with a banner that reads: Eat Or Dare. They have procured bigger candy hearts than ever before -- fist-sized and larger -- with actions written on them instead of derogatory slogans. "Take a dive." "Lick me." "Get handsy." The name of the game is to follow the instructions or forfeit the challenge by making the evidence disappear into your mouth. Delicious! Those who eat the candy hearts will feel themselves getting giddy and unreasonably invested in the love affairs of others. [ He doesn't even give a shit about being stuck here now. Tamura's gaze snaps to Yaguchi's eyes. ]

There's a barracks! C'mon ugly, I'm sure they got showers.

[ Tamura's eagerness isn't helping, but somebody has to make up for the lack of enthusiasm on Yaguchi's part. As they make their way, he continues to keep an eye out for any opportunity to get himself out of this. He feels uneasy, like they're being watched on every corner. Don't tell him that these acts are actually monitored! ]

Is someone following us?

Tch. Dunno what you're talking about.

[ Tamura answers a little too quickly, shoving his hands in his pockets and looking away. And yes, the robots are indeed stalking them.
He finally turns back to him with a grin. ]

Why? You scared?

[ It's just...Tamura's a little too eager for this but Yaguchi's just assuming it's par for course given his after school activities.

He almost shows his teeth at that question but just elbows him as he continues walking. ]

Like you're one to talk about when it comes to being scared. Unlike you, I'm not into having onlookers. [ Nevermind that Yaguchi barely has much time to fully understand what he's into.

They eventually arrive at the barracks, where there are multiple showers. He glances at the candy and looks up for a robot holding its hands out to hold onto because, there's no way Yaguchi can shower with the candy after all. Sound logic, very sound, and while he does set the candy down, he does deliver an uppercut to the robot who is being a total trooper about this. Maybe the candy booth robot communicated with him about this little devil already.

He steps in to examine the showers to keep himself from seething in embarrassment. Nothing out of the ordinary at least. He might as well shower too, but with the way his arms are crossed, he's obviously waiting for Tamura to pick first. ]

Ow. Hey, I ain't scared.

[ Tamura's scowls at him, though he's flushing. Like he has a problem having this disgusting little man all to himself. ]

Shy and a scaredy cat, huh?

[ When they approach the barracks, his spirits brighten considerably. His clothes are already gone and thrown across a couple benches before he makes it to the actual showers. But then there's a robot poking him and he rounds on it like he's going to beat it up until it points at the candy in his hand that he'd almost forgotten about. With that, he strides over to where Yaguchi is standing with his arms crossed.

He'll lean over and attempt to lick a sneak attack up from Yaguchi's neck to his cheek in one fluid motion as he walks by. Successful or not, he'll toss his candy to the robot and pick a shower that is in clear sight of Yaguchi. Oh, and he'll definitely face him. ]

[ Yaguchi's about to swim in completely unfamiliar territory, Tamura. Let your underclassman have this. He's obviously too jittery to have quick reflexes right now, because he feels that wet tongue on his neck and the hairs on his skin immediately stand up like a cat. Nevermind that the yelp he let out isn't that different from a spooked kitty either. ]

Asshole! [ What was that one American horror movie with the woman getting stabbed in the showers? THAT ONE. LET'S REENACT THAT SCENE YOU SON OF A -

The sigh he lets out sounds more like a snarl as he starts stripping down and setting his clothes where he can easily retrieve them. As he undoes the tie on his hair, he thinks about their current situation, where he'd very much rather be stuck here with virtually anyone else than this senpai who seems to enjoy bullying him to no end. At least he can trust Toono. Or even Yu. Actually no, if Yu was here he'd just be the popular pick and he does not want to hear over the network what a good lay his cousinsithndujskhfsujgbs

So it could be worse.

He shakes his head, turning back to pick a shower stall at the very very very far end and away from Tamura's. He starts by letting the water hit his neck first. ]

[ Tamura had been watching him, posturing and showering slowly. That is, until Yaguchi finally enters a stall. Then he turns back and speeds through the rest of the shower, using the shampoos and soaps provided. There's one bottle he doesn't know what to do with, but he barks a laugh once the substance is on his fingers. What kind of place stocks lube in the showers? With one final rinse, he inspects himself to make sure he is so clean there's no way Yaguchi could turn him away. Even his ass is pristine.

His stall going silent will be the only warning before he's sneaking into Yaguchi's as quietly as possible, with the intention of sliding up behind up. Don't worry, when he yells the next part, he'll be ready to catch him --or get punched in the face. ]

[ Yaguchi's trying not to think about Tamura watching him because it's already enough knowing that he's being watched by the robots or something (he thinks). Feeling the water hit his head as he runs the shampoo through his hair is probably the best feeling he had since coming here. The serene moment is brief though, as the shower is louder than Tamura's footsteps for him to hear. When he hears him announce himself Yaguchi barely turned around completely to punch him in the face before he slips into Tamura's arms.

Showering and bathing with others isn't new to him but this is not the same thing as an after school activity. (Well, his after school activity.) Needless to say, even with the locks of hair in his face it's evident that Yaguchi's blushing isn't because of the hot water. ]

Congrats, but I'm not done yet! Get the hell out!!

You're so slow.

[ Tamura snarks but doesn't leave, Yaguchi's expression causing his own mirroring flush to creep over his face. A grin spreads across his face when the idea of helping him finish cleaning up hits him, which he aims right down at the man in his arms. He moves a hand to push Yaguchi's hair out of his face and rinse out any shampoo if there's any left, fingers grazing against his scalp in an unexpectedly gentle way if Yaguchi lets him. ]

Shut up, it'll go faster if I help.
[ No it won't, but Tamura isn't going anywhere either. ]

[ Yaguchi slaps that hand away - or so he wants to do but doesn't, looking more like a deer caught in headlights than anything. The touch is softer than he anticipated, leaving him looking like a kitten being held by the scruff. He was prepared for something much more painful, something a bully would actually do. But this? No. No one's ever done this for him before.

It's when Tamura gives that reason that he blinks and calms himself. He doesn't think Tamura is wrong there. He just wants to get this over with and maybe have another peaceful shower by himself. This isn't so bad, as long as he keeps his eyes away from looking at Tamura directly, he'll manage. He doesn't say anything as he turns his head slightly to face the wall, blushing even harder when his eyes give a passing glance at that navel piercing. ]

[ BOOM. ]
