00. Arrival![]() This time, you come out of the water, the Nameless Island's own inherent energy drawing people in. It's like being suspended between realities and abruptly pushed from behind through a rift in dimensions. It may make you sick, or that might be the motion of the ocean, lifting you to the surface and carrying you to shore. Waterlogged and covered in sand, new arrivals will be greeted by robots who welcome them with towels and bracelet devices. The A5 card is already loaded up. Feel free to explore the Island, though there isn’t much to see. Most of the buildings are abandoned and in dire need of repair, and beyond the city lingers a thick fog that obscures much of the wilderness from view. Wander too far into this fog, and you will find yourself mysteriously looping back to where you began, your memories of what you were doing and how you got there erased. With that in mind, it may be wise to stake your claim on a rundown apartment, a tent on the beach, or a bed in the “comfortable” new barracks. Your inventory will be found a day later, wrapped up haphazardly and delivered to each person's makeshift home. I. STARGAZER![]() On the first night that new arrivals wash ashore, the moon rises. It's full and beautiful and surrounded by stars. The robots quickly bring old, dusty telescopes out of storage and line them up on the beach to help people get a truly spectacular view. "Look to the heavens! Behold, the chicken, the cat, the owl, the donkey!" It's... the cock, the pussy, the hooters, and the ass. For the rest of the night, characters will become fixated on the specific asset associated with the constellation they've gotten an eyeful of. Whether this leads to some body worship or just casual appreciation is up to you. You can learn about the stars and constellations later this month in some of the rare, non-pornographic books in the library. (More info will go up soon, so please be patient!) II. STIMULATING CONVERSATION![]() An ancient courting ritual has been announced! It involves the give-and-take of candy hearts with slogans printed on them. Of course, since these hearts are being manufactured by robots, their sense of taste is a little... off? Or perhaps off-putting? "You'll do." "5/10." "Acceptable." "Sloppy Seconds." Receiving a negative heart makes one feel insecure, jealous, and submissive. "Be mine." "Nicest ass." "Swell bulge." "They're good lays, Bront." Receiving a positive heart will make one feel confident, boastful, and dominant. Your friendly neighborhood 'bots will give them out to anyone who asks - and maybe even those who don't. III. Eat Or Dare![]() The robots have set up a stall by the beach with a banner that reads: Eat Or Dare. They have procured bigger candy hearts than ever before -- fist-sized and larger -- with actions written on them instead of derogatory slogans. "Take a dive." "Lick me." "Get handsy." The name of the game is to follow the instructions or forfeit the challenge by making the evidence disappear into your mouth. Delicious! Those who eat the candy hearts will feel themselves getting giddy and unreasonably invested in the love affairs of others. They will feel compelled to play matchmaker to spread the cheer. "Not here, maybe." Considering most people here wouldn't know what a Gundam was if it stood there in front of them so far as Duo can tell. The salt is easy enough to spot out, and Duo mentally notes she's arrived as recently as he has. Huh. So that's three of them in one fell swoop.
How bizarre.
"Who'd you hear it from? Chang?" He suspects Wufei first, of course, as he's ... he isn't sure if 'closest' is the correct term, but it's the only one he can think of at the moment. Still, the question about where he was going earns a little smile, hands turned upward as he removes them from his pockets to shrug.
"Trade secret, Sally. Sorry." Factitious little shit.

"...He's dangerous."

“Depends. Whatcha got?” Duo is always open to whatever Sally had, of course. She’s an interesting ally to them at the worst times, so there’s no harm done in playing along with the game.
For the moment anyway.
But Duo cracks a smile the moment Sally brings up a ghost from Mars, laughing lowly.
“That ghost got a name that starts with Z? Or M, depending on which he is that day?” He can’t help the cutting joke, but then Duo’s shoulders use in a shrug, and he explains.
“Mn. He’s here. Let me wash my hair at his place, actually.”

"Well, that's cordial, isn't it? I'm not surprised you've found your way around here." Before he can flit off like the alley cat he is, she quirks a half a smile. "Anything else you've learned that you're willing to share?" She's worried by that ease of acceptance... but Duo can't be throwing all caution to the wind, can he? She supposes that he will have his reasons for doing what he pleases.

"Honestly? I've got a lot of shit dumped in my lap and I'm lookin' for a drink and a cigarette right about now." On top of all this weird sex island stuff, there's the whole complications with Heero and Relena and.. well. It's a lot to take in all at once, if he's honest. Duo's shoulders shrug despite that, though, ever casual and not really willing to divulge his difficulties to other people.
"Probably better people to ask than me. Yuy and Relena are around here somewhere. If those are safer people for you than Zechs and Chang."

"I've heard." She quirks a grin. "What makes you think I can't handle the other two?"

So far as Duo sees it, he's pretty much ruined a lot of his body already - there's really no room to talk about his lungs or his liver when it comes down to it. At least not by his estimations anyway. At the very least Sally knows better than to waste too much breath on lecturing him about it anyway.
"Well you're suspicious of one, and the other will probably just give you a patronizing lecture." They may not have spent a hell of a lot of time together, but... Duo's heard enough to not be amused from time to time.
"Up to you but, you know. Just saying."
