TDM 009: I'M IN LIKE WITH YOU |
00. Arrival![]() This time, you come out of the water, the Nameless Island's own inherent energy drawing people in. It's like being suspended between realities and abruptly pushed from behind through a rift in dimensions. It may make you sick, or that might be the motion of the ocean, lifting you to the surface and carrying you to shore. Waterlogged and covered in sand, new arrivals will be greeted by robots who welcome them with towels and bracelet devices. The A5 card is already loaded up. Feel free to explore the Island, though there isn’t much to see. Most of the buildings are abandoned and in dire need of repair, and beyond the city lingers a thick fog that obscures much of the wilderness from view. Wander too far into this fog, and you will find yourself mysteriously looping back to where you began, your memories of what you were doing and how you got there erased. With that in mind, it may be wise to stake your claim on a rundown apartment, a tent on the beach, or a bed in the “comfortable” new barracks. Your inventory will be found a day later, wrapped up haphazardly and delivered to each person's makeshift home. I. STARGAZER![]() On the first night that new arrivals wash ashore, the moon rises. It's full and beautiful and surrounded by stars. The robots quickly bring old, dusty telescopes out of storage and line them up on the beach to help people get a truly spectacular view. "Look to the heavens! Behold, the chicken, the cat, the owl, the donkey!" It's... the cock, the pussy, the hooters, and the ass. For the rest of the night, characters will become fixated on the specific asset associated with the constellation they've gotten an eyeful of. Whether this leads to some body worship or just casual appreciation is up to you. You can learn about the stars and constellations later this month in some of the rare, non-pornographic books in the library. (More info will go up soon, so please be patient!) II. STIMULATING CONVERSATION![]() An ancient courting ritual has been announced! It involves the give-and-take of candy hearts with slogans printed on them. Of course, since these hearts are being manufactured by robots, their sense of taste is a little... off? Or perhaps off-putting? "You'll do." "5/10." "Acceptable." "Sloppy Seconds." Receiving a negative heart makes one feel insecure, jealous, and submissive. "Be mine." "Nicest ass." "Swell bulge." "They're good lays, Bront." Receiving a positive heart will make one feel confident, boastful, and dominant. Your friendly neighborhood 'bots will give them out to anyone who asks - and maybe even those who don't. III. Eat Or Dare![]() The robots have set up a stall by the beach with a banner that reads: Eat Or Dare. They have procured bigger candy hearts than ever before -- fist-sized and larger -- with actions written on them instead of derogatory slogans. "Take a dive." "Lick me." "Get handsy." The name of the game is to follow the instructions or forfeit the challenge by making the evidence disappear into your mouth. Delicious! Those who eat the candy hearts will feel themselves getting giddy and unreasonably invested in the love affairs of others. They will feel compelled to play matchmaker to spread the cheer. The location they came to looked pretty idyllic all things considered. The blizzard she mentioned had taken its obvious toll, but nothing hard word couldn't fix!
She does as directed and set the wheelbarrow down next to the empty plot.
"It's a nice place. Did you just find it here, or did you put it together yourself somehow?" While she had remembered the little robots mentioning something about rewards from the Augur she hadn't quite understood the capacity of what it could gift yet.

"I had been distracted by that tree, nearly caught up by vines, when we both notice this place, covered in overgrowth! It must be one of the older buildings here..."
no subject
"Mind if I help you get these planted? It'll get done faster between the two of us."
After all they probably needed planted quickly and she wouldn't feel right making 6O do all the work while she just stood there.

In 6O's case, she had tons of internal datalogs to reference, built up over ages obsessing over flowers and plants back on the Bunker, but she didn't want to assume Accord had access to the same info.
no subject
"I should be able to plant these in the ground at least. Although I don't recognize what these are right away, why don't you tell me what they are and what you want to use them for?"
Accord happily prompted 6O to talk about what was clearly a hobby for her.

When they were done Accord stood up and brushed the dirt off her clothes. "Well that's done. Do you want to sit inside and chat? Although it did look like the little machines were setting some sort of event up."
Which she decided to add, "As far as I can tell these machines aren't related to the machine lifeforms we're familiar with. Have you come to the same conclusion?"
no subject
"Another one, huh...," suggesting it was at least a somewhat regular occurrence. She turned back to Accord with a small shrug.
"The native machines are definitely not like those of the Aliens back home. I'm sure if there was a Scanner here, they could tell us more, but their network seems pretty dedicated to running out this revival program of theirs."
Her cheeks colored a bit, as she went on, her voice shaking slightly. "They... haven't really explained how this whole 'eros' energy thing works, but pretty much everything they do is dedicated towards encouraging its generation, so..."
no subject
"Which is pretty divorced from the machine lifeforms of our world." At least the vast majority that she knew 6O would be familiar with "A restoration of organic life isn't usually on their agenda."
She listens to what 6O has to say and she couldn't help but smile. The YoRHa unit that was a little shy, it was kind of cute.
"I don't mind going to look personally. We don't have to do anything we don't want to do, right?"
no subject
"I haven't regretted any of these experiences. They've all been so... new and fascinating! I wasn't... particularly lucky in that department back on the Bunker, after all, so all of this is still really new to me."
no subject
Not being one for personal space she comes over and loops her arms around one of 6O's "Then how about we go have a look together at least?"
no subject
But it was fine! Accord could use someone with experience on the island around, right?
"S-sure! We can make our way back, and head back here whenever you like..."
no subject
"Perfect, let's see what looks fun then." With that she has no troubles just staying attached to 6O's arm as they head back towards the beach.
((ooc: Feel free to pick Stargazing, or Eat or Dare))

With the way Accord hung on her arm the way there, and arriving at the festival, she couldn't help but feel... like it was sort of like a date. Which was bizarre both because she's only met Accord earlier that day, but also that she was definitely still in unfamiliar territory. Her blush hadn't faded at all, and she had to halfway wonder what Lys might think if she spied her like this. They weren't exactly exclusive, given the nature of the island. But courting was still way out of her wheelhouse!
She hadn't even noticed that Accord was being handed a particularly large candy heart, mostly just focusing on trying to figure out what it is they were meant to be doing...
no subject
Once they made it back to the beach she went to the first stall she could see. Chatting with the little machine there she got the rules of the game and took the candy that was handed to her.
"Hey 6O, apparently I have to do what this candy says or eat it. What do you think?" She shows the candy to 6O which read 'Use your mouth'.
no subject
Well now she was completely red, eyes averting from the confection and just sort of... stammering.
"W-well that's... kind of vague, d-don't you think?"
no subject
"But that just means we get to decide what it means." Accord smiles playfully "So what do you want it to mean 6O? Just a kiss? or perhaps more?"
no subject
"W-well, we really only just met, so...," it was half-hearted, a protest that barely formed and nearly died within her throat. Something Accord was almost being dared to push past.
no subject
So Accord decided to push those boundaries at least a little, like she was often fond of doing in other contexts.
"Then how about I start and when it seems like too much you can tell me to stop or even push me off? I promise I won't get mad."
no subject
Just what the hell was she agreeing to? For some reason, this felt so much more difficult than it was with a human. By her protocols, she rolled with their affections, insistences, so much more easily. But with Accord, it felt so much more... oddly personal. What a way to get to know someone, right?
"Just... k-keep in mind, I'm not very experienced, still..."
no subject
She steps in front of 6O and smiles sweetly "Just remember you don't have to do anything you don't want to. I'm happy to just chat, but I believe the human saying is... when in Rome?"
With that she reached out to grab one of 6O's hands and she very gently brought it to her lips. The YoRHa uniform for Operators was very covering, but she's sure the visual and the light sensation will still be appreciated.
She kisses the back of 6O's hand and makes a trail up her arm and shoulder, not at all seeming to care where they were. Then as she reached the top she grabbed either edge of the veil to lift it up.
Accord gave a cheeky smile to 6O before leaning in to kiss her directly on the lips. It started a peck and then she went in for a more gentle lip-lock. It was soft, slow and non-demanding.
After a few moments if 6O didn't protest she'd pull back "How was that?" She'd ask her tone playful and light.
no subject
The kiss just... made her melt, leaning just slightly against the other android, letting her lips part just lightly, only to realize it was over...
"That was... really nice."
no subject
"I'm glad you liked it," Her voice dipped low and a bit seductive.
"Would you say we're done here or would you like to see what command you get from our candy oracle?"
no subject
Only to go even more red, let out a small yelp, duck down, and clutch the candy to her chest as if to hide it from Accord...
no subject
She pouted some "Well what did you get? I'd like to see too."
Accord peers down as if trying to get a glance at it despite 6O having it clearly clutched to her chest. "After all neither one of us has to do it if we don't like the idea."
