I try not to touch anyone, [ she holds up her gloved hands here to make a point ] but it's not just people that it kicks in for.

Not just people, and not all the time. Sometimes it's objects that have an especially strong emotion or memory attached to it. I'm not sure how it would work with skin to skin contact, I've been trying to avoid that.

I don't know for sure, time's been kind of off for me since the first time I got pulled from home. [ a moment while she does some quick mental math. ] A little over four months there and about two here.

[ which isn't counting how long she was unconscious while they experimented on her, but she doesn't know how long that was anyway. ]

It was working just fine before I got pulled to the sex island. [ but then she hasn't gone into heat since about a year since she was last at home. ]

Working fine for you how? Do you actively not want to get laid or are you just telling yourself that because it's easier?

Don't look at me. I don't have superpowers. ( she's got magical powers. there's a difference. ) But there's gotta be a way you can learn to control it, and avoiding it forever won't help.

I was involved with someone. It ended badly just before I wound up the in the place responsible for said superpowers. Getting my swerve on hasn't exactly been a priority.

You sound like you're talking from a lot of experience for someone who's just claimed to not have superpowers.

Yeah, I'm bound to find a lot of people willing to let me touch them enough to build up an immunity to it, or whatever else I have to do.
