They're also used for the Augur--that would be the being that brought us here--to make demands of us, and to communicate over long distances with each other. There are ways to restrict that communication, but that wouldn't stop someone knowledgeable enough from eavesdropping, if they saw fit. I would trust speaking over these to be no more private than a conversation held in public like this one."
