First, Kujaku alerts him to the smell of blood in the air, and Zixuan immediately turns to hurry towards the ocean. Then...her smell registers and his heart clenches, and he flings himself into an outright run, to hell with decorum.
She's here. Wounded. Which tells him something of what she might remember from home. He wishes he could spare her that. But he can't. He can only reach her - as he does a moment later and get between her and the robots, giving them a hard glare as his heart hammers away in his chest.
He knows his ears and tail might startle her, but it doesn't matter. He curtly addresses the robots. "You are not needed. I will tend to her now." That seems to work enough to allow him to turn back to her, worry entering his earnest gaze. "I don't live too far, will you come with me? We can get your wounds treated." And he can answer her questions.
