[ Ferdinand has heard from Constance that Claude is among the new arrivals, and given that the war in Fódlan is worlds away, there is no reason for Ferdinand not to be as polite and friendly as he ever is. There's also the matter of the war being over for him anyway, so what does it matter to him that some of his former classmates remember him dying on some bridge somewhere? He has no reason to bear the grudges of some other version of himself.
