The softness in his brother is unprecedented. Verin hasn't really seen anything like it in decades. Not since they were both children. Seeing him blush is just as surprising, and Verin can't help but wonder what - or who - has caused such a change. It makes him feel a hopeful sort of warmth. He has worried about Essek for a long time, and while he doubts that will fade, maybe his brother is finding a place.
He truly hopes so.
"Go on," he says with a smile and a gesture toward the door. While he has no compunctions about losing the illusion in front of Essek, he expects his brother would rather not endure that. Verin laughs when he looks at the clothes again, but he gets changed as soon as he's alone. It could probably be worse, and he has to admit... the shirt definitely looks good.
