When Xichen's gaze drops to Mingjue's mouth, breaking their eye contact, Mingjue throws a concerned glance at A-Yao. He opts to then lean harder into Xichen's side and to brace his near arm on the surface behind Xichen's back. It brings him closer, though he's careful not to trap Xichen with his arm and to leave room for A-Yao and any of the offered cuddles.

"Then we will," Mingjue tells Xichen before leaning forward to offer the gentlest of kisses, something that will match the volume of the words Xichen had used to agree to it. He makes it soft and lets it linger, the fingertips on Xichen's jaw stroking up to his hair before he breaks away again.
