Mingjue followed A-Yao to his rooms and stood aside to take in the furnishings (or lack thereof), while the hat found its home on the wall. He was torn between exhausted and bemused as he stood there, listening.
He scrubbed his face with one hand, sighed behind in it, and said, "I will take you up on that bath if you're offering. If you really do want me to pass some sort of judgement on you, it's going to need to be when I am less drowned."
Dropping his hand away from his face, he gave A-Yao another more-concerned-than-anything-else frown he continued, "Right now, all I know is that this place is inherently cruel, and any kindness is more than deserved. So why do you need, of all people, my judgement?"
