The contact feels nice and reassuring. Like maybe the two of them make this work without it resulting in disaster. It'll take time to mend it all between them but it's begun, at least. Talking was the first step. Rebuilding trust comes next and that will take take more time and effort but if they can survive a night in the same bed, that'll be a start.
