Watching Vax walk away. Oh, so much time had passed since then. She can't begin to list the events that'd transpired, so she stops herself short.

"I. Oh wow." she stops, breathless. So she couldn't ask him about their daughter, and as such, he likely hasn't seen her. "Well. Do...Do you want to know what's happened, or no?" she asks softly, thumb catching on the telltale scruff if it's there, and she has to fight the urge to kiss him over and over.

"Because I don't want to shock you, but it's likely to come up."
