Storms were not a regular fixture of colony life. Despite himself, and all of his time on terra during the war, Duo has yet to get used to anything like unregulated weather systems and, in particular, lightning and thunder. He's cursing himself for getting caught out in the middle of all of this, too, trying to make his way back to their little cabin in the woods where he presumes Wufei and Heero may be too.

Who he hadn't expected to find in a shelter somewhere?

Trowa Barton. Duo pauses for a moment, eyes wide and mouth a little open in confusion before he gathers himself.

"Trowa!" A little pause, then : "What're you doin' out here? Heero, Wufei and I have a cabin. I'll take ya back there."
