[ The voicing of his title is more than enough to get Noctis wide away. He looks up just as he's brushing tussled bangs out of his eyes. Having not heard his voice in what feels like ages and never having a close relationship to the glaives that protected his father, Noctis couldn't quite catch the familiarity to the voice. But he recognizes him immediately. He's changed very little from when he'd been a child all the way to the moment he'd left the citadel on his trip to Altissia. Of all the glaives, he remembered Nyx the most, because he was the only one that ever treated him as just a little more than his father's son. Yet it's so expected of him, to fall back to his title, upholding to his duty even after his death.
It's weird, how he's not all that bothered that Nyx is here when he's not even supposed to be alive, but Somnus has done enough to prepare him in handling that sort of dissonance. Really, he's just baffled that he's here. ]
Nyx...?
[ Noctis gets to his feet immediately, and his gaze flickers to some weird little creature that is now fluttering around near his head, seeming content to leave him alone now that he's awake. What in the Gods' name is that thing...? Noct doesn't have the time for it, so he brushes the thing aside with a swat of his hand. ]
