Even before the fall of New York, he'd been living in military bunking for years instead of anything more personal. He's glad she wants to take him, but the reality of it hasn't fully hit yet, appreciative as he is of the offer.

He listens, nodding to let her know he's following along, and although he understands as best he can given what little context he has of the island so far, he finds he's got nothing. Chase is quiet for a moment, but eventually shrugs his shoulders, looking only a little apologetic. ]
